Jersey Shore

Heading back to the city after a nice weekend at Kevin’s beach-side house in Stone Harbor. It’s always good to get a break from the city. I need to make sure it happens enough.

Took plenty of photos, none on the beach, though. I decided I’d prefer boogie boarding. I tried skim- boarding, too. I was improving until I fell and twisted my knee. I’m going to say it was a surfing accident. Sore all over.

Met a bunch of Kevin’s friends. One really likes icing bros and one almost drowned. Caught a crab and tossed it back. Ventured out kayaking solo. Productive weekend.

On the way back to catch the Greyhound with Theresa, we killed some time in Atlantic City and I checked out the casino. I’m always impressed by places that attempt to control every minute detail of your experience. Casinos probably do it the best of any. Would be a great setting for something. Like a heist movie. Oh, wait.

Atlantic City is gross, pretty much what I expected, but more outlet stores. I want to go back to the beach.
