Lost in the Supermarket

A photo essay I shot at Oberlin for a design class.  We were asked to pick a song and interpret it visually.  I chose the Afghan Whigs’ cover of The Clash’s “Lost in the Supermarket.”  Shot at Oberlin’s IGA, I chose to explore the themes of hopelessness and depersonalization inherent in post-modern life.

Featuring Andrew Mooney as “the man.”
