"Things That Go Bump in the Night" was a workshop I designed for CalArts guest artist Katy Alexander. It explored childhood fears, fairy tales and the mythology of night. Created on a shoestring budget in a four-week devising process, the production took stories from the actors' lives, fairy tales and composition excercises and combined them into a 50-minute collage. the video was a three-channel projection, often mapping onto the simple set and functioning as a light source (sometimes controlled via iPad for precice control).
